The family on the porch steps
Outdoor light paints best, and an overcast day beats bright sun. Everyone close together, nobody squinting.
Watercolor Christmas cards
Send us one family photo. We paint it in soft watercolor, print it on a heavy 5x7 card, and mail it to everyone on your list.
$5.49 a card, down to $2.99 for a long list. Printing, addressing and postage included.

Merry Christmas
The Bennett Family
Upload your photo or pick one of our watercolor designs. Free to try, and you see the card before you pay.
The style
Soft washes, visible paper grain and warm, muted color. It keeps the light and the feel of your photo but reads as a painting, not a filtered picture. It is made to keep everyone recognizable, and you see it before you pay, so you can try again if it is not quite them.
No photo this year? Start from one of ours. Add your words and your list, and there is nothing to wait for.

Pets count as family. Get down to their eye level and let the snow do the rest. More on pet cards.
Your door, painted, is a card only you can send. Stand straight on so the frame is square.
A new address is the best reason to start a list. Shoot it from the street in daylight.
A cabin, a tree, a window with candles. No people needed, and no one has to dress up.
The trip, the wedding, the new baby. Pick the photo you already love; it does not have to be wintry.
The card
One card per address, no envelope to open. It goes in the mailbox with the painting facing out, so they see it before they read it.
Pricing
Printing, addressing, postage and mailing are all in that number. No envelope fee, no addressing fee, no stamps to buy.

A phone photo is fine. Daylight paints better than flash, and faces should not be tiny in the frame. You see the card before you pay, so you can try another photo if the first one does not paint well.
Yes, a short greeting and your family name, set over the top of the painting. Many people leave the front clean and write their message on the back, which prints in a handwritten style.
$5.49 for one card, less per card as the list grows, down to $2.99 at 100 or more. Printing, addressing and First-Class postage are included.
